Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, who is an actress, director, producer, educator, playwright as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is child of a Briton and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of commercials for television. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order to pursue her acting. In the decade following, she made the move in Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They were engaged by 2009, after they got married.
