Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson is an American former actor. Her professional journey began as a child actor and model, Elson is perhaps best known for her roles on television as Alice Tyler on the CBS science fiction series . Andrea auditioned to play the lead in ALF, the 1986 hit show. She was a finalist. Andrea was a regular on various popular TV shows including Movies of the Day before taking a decision to end her career and focus her attention to her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter was a difficult one for her. People reported in 2000 that she was struggling to develop as a woman before the audience of sitcoms. Born on the 6th of March 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actress grew up traveling due to her father's work in the field of advertising. Andrea had lived in New York as well as Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles before she turned ten. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent, and the part for which she had auditioned for was awarded. Fusco explained the decision with the statement "ALF has 285 years, which means he's an adult who is able to drink alcohol." When ALF began to be increasingly popular, NBC said that Fusco was no longer allowed to have ALF drinking alcohol with the kids. It was considered a bad role for a role model. Fusco thought ALF was able to drink alcohol as an adult. He was diagnosed in 1995 with lymphoma. It was treated successfully, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. He passed away from the illness on June 26, 2019, at the age of 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
